As soon as a sale is started, the app shifts to shopper display mode to show each item as it is rung up, with quantity, price, taxes, payment information and an image of the item. Discounts are clearly highlighted for the customer to see as they are entered. Payment methods and any change amount for cash are shown as they occur. The customer can sign their payment card transaction right on the iPad, with stylus or bare finger. The signature image is permanently captured on the spot. Two iPads running POS and Shopper Display in tandem save you a ton of counter space, save expense, and demonstrates to your customers how ahead the curve your store really is. Not only that, but if traffic is heavy you can instantly switch the Shopper Display to another POS unit and use it to ring up sales right on the floor.
